Ann remains a very active and energetic member of UK plc’s business community supporting a variety of entrepreneurial management teams and start-up companies – with her time, her expertise and, where appropriate, her investment.

Her Gloag Foundation funds projects across four African countries helping more than 20,000 women and children every year, focusing on improving access to education and healthcare. She also supports UK-based charities.

Ann provides HSC’s Board with essential insights into the commercial challenges facing any early stage company, alongside a deep understanding , borne of her longstanding experience as a nurse, of the psychology of patient care. Both of which are equally valuable to HSC.
