Personal Cancer Care Review

For clients who have recently been diagnosed with cancer, the review will help you gain a better understanding of your specific situation and personal concerns so that we can help you access the best and most appropriate treatment and support possible.

A dedicated Case Manager will be fully informed as to the details of your case and will undertake an initial call with you to discuss your situation, diagnosis and planned treatment. Following the call, your Case Manager will arrange a one-to-one telephone consultation with a Cancer Support Specialist who will focus on your support needs and any unanswered questions you may have following appointments with your doctor or nurse.  As well as talking through your current medical situation, diagnosis and treatment plan, the consultation will help you identify and recognise your most pressing needs and concerns, whether they be emotional, practical or clinical.

Following the consultation, your Cancer Support Specialist will create your Personal Information Summary. Your Personal Information Summary is designed to provide a detailed review of your current situation, diagnosis and what’s important to you, as well as useful sources of information and support tailored to your needs. Your Personal Information Summary will be sent to you along with information from Macmillan on healthy eating, and a contact card, for your purse/wallet, to remind you of the things to consider in preparation for appointments. This will also include contact details of your personal Case Manager and Harley Street Concierge contact details.

You will receive a follow up call from your Case Manager to discuss any additional support you may need.

I Was Surprised How Easy They Made Things

The wait to be diagnosed with lung cancer was long. I had endless scans and waited several weeks for results. A scan result actually went missing and had to be done a second time. My trust in the NHS was at an all-time low. We spent hours looking for answers, wanting to know if what I’d been told was correct and if the right plan was in place. The outcome I received from Harley Street Concierge was reassurance. Scans and tests were checked with speed and precision. Explanations made the diagnosis easier to deal with. I was surprised how easy they made things for us. When getting copies of scans from the NHS all we had to do was sign a consent form. The rest was dealt with by the company. I would 100% recommend Harley Street Concierge to anyone going through a similar experience. Thanks to them, my cancer treatment plan is on track and I’m doing well.
